Fans Shred Beats1 For Referring To Wizkid As A Rising Star

UK radio Beats1 came under fire after tweeting about Wizkid, asking fans to tune in and listen to his latest song ‘Daddy Yo‘.

In their tweet, the singer was referred to as ‘a rising Nigerian Star’ a line which angered thousands of Wizkid’s fans.

As a show of solidarity, these fans took to twitter to slam Beats1 for this statement, with many stating clearly that it is infact a major offense to refer to Wizkid as a rising star.
